Kaleb's Story
I’m Kaleb, an 18-year-old from Alabama. My childhood was marked by instability due to my parents’ struggles with addiction, leading to years in foster care. After moving to Florida, I made some mistakes that landed me in jail.
Independence Pathway has been a lifeline. The supportive community has helped me recover, grow, and set goals. I’m grateful for the mentorship and guidance from Adam, Jeannee, Brittany, and Tony. With their help, I’m determined to build a better future, pursue higher education, and start my own business.
TJ's Story
I’m Tyler, or TJ for short. I’m an 18-year-old guy who’s passionate about football. It’s more than just a sport to me; it’s a way of life. I’m dreaming big and aiming for a career in NFL broadcasting or statistics. When I’m not balling out or studying, I’m usually lost in the digital world, watching YouTube or exploring the internet. And let’s not forget my furry friends – I’m a total cat person. My music taste is eclectic, ranging from EDM artists like Alan Walker to hip-hop legends like XXXTentacion and Juice WRLD.
My time at Independence Pathway has been a total game-changer. After years of chaotic foster care experiences, I was expecting the same old routine. But this place is different. It’s peaceful, supportive, and surprisingly free. My roommates are awesome, and the staff genuinely care about us. I’ve never met such a respectful and positive group of people. They’ve helped me grow and given me the tools to succeed.

Logan's Story
I’m Logan Rothwell, an 18-year-old who entered foster care at 16 due to past mistakes. Since joining Independence Pathway, I’ve found a supportive and fun community. The team is like family, always kind and encouraging. They’ve helped me grow and set goals for the future. I hope to attend college or trade school to pursue a career in video game design. I highly recommend Independence Pathway to anyone seeking independence and support.
